The Beltway Breaker is an independent publication launched in September 2025 by a small collective of concerned DMV-area residents, some of whom are federal employees, looking to do more to support the fight against fascism in a continually failing information environment. We're not backing down. Are you?

The Authors have expertise in technology, politics, law, health, and science, and intense passion for defeating fascism in the U.S. and around the world, and ultimately seeking to help create a better world for all of us.

NOTE: The Beltway Breaker will never use AI in our writing process. We believe that the useful applications of AI technologies are those that allow true enhancement of human skills. We will never use AI to generate articles or edit, because we believe these uses of AI are immoral. We are also nerds who enjoy the process of writing and editing, so why would we want AI to steal that joy.
